The First 90 Days of Travel

It's almost impossible to describe what the last 90 days have brought me. I've seen sights of this country I never thought I would. Hiked in places I shouldn't have. Volunteered with my cooking; my drywalling; my yardwork skills. I've had breakdowns, meltdowns, shakedowns, and am still here to write about it. I go to bed every night like a kid on Christmas Eve, giddy about what the next day has in store.

I've been dirty. I've been penniless. I've given in to the kindness of help from strangers. I've laughed. I've had beers. I've stared a round of high-fives at Special Olympics Bowling Day.

But, here I am: back in Florida

Why? Because the thought of spending the Holidays away from my family was too much for me to take. So, I traversed 2,400 miles to be back where I started. It's the perfect time to rebuild, reset, and prepare for the continuation of this mission.
